Condition of jewelry FRAUD

After multiple iterations (and weeks with no contact) of discussion with a low level customer service rep & their ‘higher authority’ I was offered a pitiful 1% site credit. TERRIBLE customer service.

I purchase a $3700 gold and emerald necklace - advertised as in good condition, some scratches in metal. I bought it during Covid. I didnt wear it cuz we couldnt go anywhere. I finally took it to my jeweler for cleaning- they advised me to return it - as the condition was SO poor (missing prongs and loose stones) that I should not wear it. So I tried and was informed that their STRICT return policy is 10 days. I explained this was a CONDITION issue. After weeks of back & ;forth they finally offered me a $40.00 site credit. A 1% site credit - insulting. Beware & do not buy jewelry from them!site credit.

I spent over $1000 and my package was sent to the wrong address!! I want an immediate call!

I called customer service on 4 occasions about my delivery. I waited 30 minutes got hung up on. Spoke to a supervisor who said everything was fixed. it was delivered to the wrong address still!!! There was clothing and even diamond jewelry. Over $1000 in items. Nobody was at the address and my packages were gone!!!! Now I have to wait because their customer service is only open until 3:00 pst.

Did not receive product

Paid $2000.00 for a purse and my card was charged. Two and one half weeks later, have not received the purse and unable to talk to them and do not answer my emails.

Mess up on sale of Vera *** jacket for $95.00 I wanted it Back. It was $1000 and it got messed up in shipping

This is to thank the realreal

Six months ago I was very angry at the realreal. I want to say that in the time since then the customer service totally took care of me the issue was taken care of and I was more then happy with the outcome. I have purchased several more items without concern not once have I been disappointed again. The issue I had was a fluke. I have been extremely satisfied with all my purchases following the incident. I would recommend the realreal to anyone looking for quality lux brands slightly used budget priced.

Counterfeit Items

Many of my blouses i.e. Alexander *** Helmut Lang and Balenciaga...Why are all the tags halfway HANGING OFF ??? My husband thinks they are not authentic. I def brought a suede brown Fendi bag that was fake. The word Fendi did NOT appear on the inside, outside, pocket, lining or zipper. I know they cant promise every item to be authentic. maybe I just need to add a few more bucks and walk into the REAL STORE.

First order with them. A blouse and pair of pants. The blouse was fine the pants were NOT the ones I ordered. I ordered an XL and these are an XXXL and damaged. When I requested a refund they said it was a non-fundable product. It isn't what I ordered. How can they take money and send me something I didn't order.

LOST MY CONSIGNMENT- UPS paid them Real Real not paying me!

Ups lost my consignment package which i had packing slips for and it made it almost to the destination the disappeared. I contacted the real real - no response and then filed the claim myself- UPS paid the real real not me and I have yet to be paid or responded to or anything - I am so angry its been since december 5th that the package was shipped!!! how can I make them speed up reimbursing me? I have all original receipts for the goods- I get great deals so essentially one unworn chloe dress retailed for 2k but I got it for 200- so the reimbursement like 70% off retail- it is reasonable there were like 14 items in there

I know have been in Retail customer service at least 30 years, you should Always make sure the customer is aware of the Rules&;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; regulations in regards to how long a g certificate is valid . Siince I called . I called the Customer Service rep was so nasty I wanted to die. It was like oh well too bad for you is that how you treat customers, couldnt care less. I guess The Real Real is too big to care about one customer, when they have so many. I was issued since then the $25.00 g. Certificates again, but I cant even find them in my acct. very disorganized Id say no one is on the same page. Need a better system.

I too sent a pair of gold and diamond chandelier earrings and they listed on my Sales page they received and being reviewed. Alas it is now 45 days, no update on status of listing.

I called twice Customer Service, I emailed them and received a response from some incompetent representative that said We will circle back to you in a short time. What unprofessional nincompoops. I have reached out to my consignor representative and she too has avoided replying to my emails and my phone messages.

I requested them to return my earrings immediately and still no response. Time for legal action.
